Adding your business to Google Places

You will need to log into Google before you are able to add your business to Google Places, for help see here.

Step 1. Check and see if Google already has information about your business

Step 2. This is the important part, Fill out as much information as you can about your business, Google loves to have good information to work with and this is your chance to give Google plenty to chew on. Remember to include your website/webflyer and to use keywords that customers might use while searching or are use in your industry.

Step 3. Verification. Google will give you a pin number via a phone call at the number listed on Google Places that you just filled out or send you a post card to the address in the places information you provided. PIN Verification is required to confirm that the person claiming and verifying the listing through Google Places is actually the business owner or an authorized representative of the business.
