The newsletter · Free · Every FridayAI is the great equalizer. Business Brains shows you how to use it.
A free weekly letter for owners of established businesses. You built something real, and you're still the memory of the company. Every Friday I write about handing that memory and the busywork to AI, seeing what's coming before the big players do, and getting back to the work only you can do.
Free. Business Brains on Friday, short Google notes on Monday and Wednesday. Unsubscribe in one click.
Three emails a week. One of them is the big one.
Business Brains
The flagship. One idea, worked all the way through: how to build a business brain, how to hear about the job before it's posted, how to own what you'd otherwise rent. Written for owners, not developers.
Local Google notes
Short, practical notes on your Google Business Profile, your reviews and Google Maps. The Local Guide Method, one piece at a time.
Owners who built something real, and want AI working for it.
Business Brains is written for owner-led companies, usually at seven or eight figures, where the owner still carries what the business knows: in their head, in inboxes, in a shared drive nobody opens. Meanwhile bigger players are buying your market with budgets you can't match.
Google doesn't have to be your channel. If you run a smaller local business, you're welcome here too. The Monday and Wednesday notes were written for you.
Who writes it
I'm Greg Tresler, "Google Greg." I've spent six years inside Google Business Profile, and I'm not a developer. I built my own business brain by talking to AI, then built one for a client's company. What works goes in the newsletter. So does what doesn't.
Build the brain. See it first. Be in the room.
- Build the brain. Put what your business knows in one place, in plain folders with plain instructions. That's when AI stops being a chatbot and starts being an employee.
- See it first. Most purchases have a trigger upstream, and a lot of those triggers are public. Find it and you're in the room before the RFP, the ad or the competitor.
- Be in the room. AI is a terrible chat buddy and a great employee. Hand it the bureaucracy, and spend your time with clients, your team and the people only you can reach.
- Own, don't rent. Ads and agencies stop the day you stop paying. Your brain, your list, your profile and your reviews keep paying you back.
